TCL Electronics Ghana Limited, a leading player in the country’s electronics market, is encouraging consumers to prioritise energy-efficient appliances, particularly air conditioners, to help reduce electricity consumption and cut down on utility costs.
The company emphasised the importance of proper installation by certified technicians to avoid leakages or malfunctions that may affect performance and durability.
Speaking to Citi News on the sidelines of the Ghana Air Conference in Accra, an event that brought together dealers and installers across the country to familiarise themselves with the 2025 product lineup, the Sales Manager at Electroland Ghana Limited, Vincent Azan-Gbiok, indicated that TCL’s air conditioners fall under two main categories: the traditional on/off systems and the more advanced inverter models.
“The inverter air conditioners can save up to 40% on power consumption. We encourage customers to go for inverter units because they are energy-saving, quieter, and more efficient.

“The new TCL lineup ensures that fresh, filtered air is introduced into your home while delivering optimal cooling,” he added.
He further highlighted a standout feature in the new models, the ability to draw in fresh, filtered air from outside through a dedicated pipe system.
TCL said its push for energy-efficient cooling solutions aligns with efforts to help households cope with rising utility costs while promoting healthier indoor air quality.
The company also unveiled its latest range of smart air conditioners which combine efficiency, clean air technology, and proper installation.
The newly introduced models include the TCL Elit, SaveIN, BreezeIN, VoxIN, FreshIN, as well as the Floor Standing Series and Ceiling & Floor Air-conditioning Systems.
